Did you know...

What is the difference between a '57 6 cyl and a V8 cyl Powerglide?

The entire transmission is different except for the tailshaft.  The major difference is the bolt
pattern where the transmission main case bolts up to the engine.  The 6 and V8 patterns
are completely different before 1962 when GM got smart and went to same flanges for all.
It is not possible  to convert a 6 cyl Powerglide to a V8.
